Challenges to Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH) Research Quality & Retrieval: Experience from the Field.

The spring meeting of the ACIH Library Special Interest Group took place on March 22nd, 2018.  A highlight of the meeting was a presentation from the library staff at Bastyr University entitled Challenges to Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH) Research Quality & Retrieval: Experience from the Field. Due to the broader topic of the presentation, we decided to open up the meeting to those outside of the group and share with all.  Slides can be downloaded here.

Topics included an overview of current Evidence Informed Practice integration in CIH, challenges to CIH research, initiatives that are moving the field forward, as well as practical examples of how these challenges play out in AEAM (AOM) research and while assisting faculty with research reviews.

Bastyr University created three library guides helpful to the discussion (below).
